Music In Your Ears: Spring Concert:
This Tuesday, the 19th March, great music will emerge from the spring concert, as all the music clubs take part in a show of their talent. Samba band, Junior Choir, Senior choir, Orchestra, Medleys & Mashups, Junior Jazz band, Senior Jazz band, Brass group, String ensemble, Guitare ensemble and the band Half a Dozen will have a chance to show what they’ve been working on this term. Songs like ‘You’ve got a friend in me’ and ‘Happy Day’ will be sung and Junior Jazz will be performing ‘Come together’ by the beatles. It looks like it will be a great opportunity to celebrate music and entertainment!
Almost there: Music Tour To Paris Coming Up
On the 29th of March to the 2nd of April around 50 of Hinchley Wood students will embark on a music tour to Paris. All the music groups will be going, so they will have a coach packed full of instruments! They’ll leave school at 5:00 am and drive to the hostel- Campus St Therese Quest. On the first day they will travel to Disneyland Paris and perform there. The second day will see them going to Jardin Du Luxembourg to perform, and on the last full day they’ll perform in Parc George Brassens. On the day they drive home they’ll also visit Versailles, and arrive home at 7. It will be a very action packed week, and I’m sure everyone attending will enjoy it!
